One of the hardest parts of starting a company is defining what it’s going to do. When Josh and I sat down to formally plan the launch of Quality In Motion Consulting, we knew that we wanted to focus on several areas that were of interest to us, and we could sum those up nicely in a three-minute walk through a parking lot. Sitting down and mapping the process out turned out to be a completely different creature; albeit a rewarding one.
Building out our business plan, which is still very much a work in progress, has proven to be one of the most thought-provoking exercises we’ve undertaken. Perhaps as important as defining our brand, it’s been instrumental in forcing us to sit down and think about why we are here and what we are going to do now that we are.
What an exciting road we’re turning onto at this point in the process!
